Fat joe 560 gear varsity Jacket

In 1997, Fat Joe launched his clothing line, FJ560, named after a legendary barbershop at 560 Melrose Avenue in the Bronx which, at the time, was a hub for hip-hop culture. The standout piece from the line was the cobalt blue leather varsity jacket with FJ560 patch work and branding. Fat Joe can be seen personally wearing this jacket in performances and public appearances, solidifying its significance in streetwear history.

One of the more memorable moments came in 1998 during the filming of Big Pun’s Still Not a Player music video, where Fat Joe, wearing the jacket, stood alongside Big Pun and Guru. This moment captured the unity of East Coast hip-hop but also the growing influence of fashion in this industry. Today, the FJ560 jacket remains a rare and highly sought after piece, securing Fat Joe’s lasting impact on hip-hop culture beyond just his music.
