The Polo Country line is one of Ralph Lauren’s most unique and collectible sub-labels that captures the spirit of the American West with true craftsmanship. Launched in the late 1980s, it was a more rustic, workwear-inspired counterpart to Polo Ralph Lauren and featured heavier fabrics, earthy tones, and designs inspired by early American workwear and Western ranch culture.

Though it had a short production run, its influence lived on in later collections like RRL, making original Polo Country pieces highly sought after by collectors. One of the most notable items from the line is the red line jacket. This was a standout piece that combined Polo’s signature craftsmanship with functional outerwear.
