Vintage TROOP Cobra Club Leather Jacket

The Troop brand, founded by brothers Teddy and Harvey Held and sneaker industry veteran William Kim, launched in 1985 in the Bronx. They had a vision to blend bold, luxury-inspired designs with streetwear. The brand quickly gained traction in hip-hop culture with its bright colors, oversized logos, and unique athletic design.

One of the brand's most noteworthy pieces was the Troop Cobra Club jacket, featuring vibrant color-blocking and signature "Cobra Club" graphics. While TROOP was embraced by rappers and athletes, the brand’s success was cut short by false rumors and controversy, leading to its decline in the early ‘90s. Because of the brand’s short run, original Cobra Club jackets are extremely rare especially in this condition.
